My favorite part of Christmas Eve is singing Silent Night by candlelight at Hopewell Union Church. Flat Jason and I managed to make it from Columbia in time for the service.After church, "us kids" went home, watched movies and talked into the wee hours of the morning. This was the first year I ever remember being allowed to stay around the Christmas tree. We all fell asleep in the family room.
